R1100S Parts, Ohlins
I have a number of miscellaneous OEM parts for an R1100S for sale. Additionally I have a used set of Ohlins that I ran on my 2002 R1100S Boxercup. The shocks have ~40,000 miles on them and need to be rebuilt/fluid changed. Prices are as follows:
All Parts are for or off of a 2002 BMW R1100S Boxer Cup Prep ======= Ohlins for R1100S (front/rear), as is: $925 OEM Left Side Fairing, like new, primed: $250 OEM Right Side Tail Section, like new, bare plastic: $70 Stock accordion air intake pipe: $10 Misc. used switchgear, bar ends, etc.: $10 Charcoal Canister: $5 Stock Exhaust (~2,000 miles on it), cat-back: $125 Stock Chip: $25 Stock Cam Sprockets (~5,000 miles): $20 All parts +S&H to be priced out per item for weight/size. I probably have some other miscellaneous parts. Just need to go through some boxes. I can send photos for any of these parts. Thanks. =John

Wow, Ohlins for sale & nobody has picked them up yet! The 1100S must be going out of style.

What kind of switchgear/ bar ends do you have? I'd be interested in having them as spares....

$1300 new, where? Last I looked that was about cost for just a rear. Rear rebuild by Ohlins cost me about $150 and hyd. preload had crapped.

@$925 + $400+/- for a complete rebuild on both you would have a like new set function wise for the price of the rear. As long as the springs are good for your weight. |

FYI, I haven't seen anywhere that has a new set for less than $1,800. Most places list the rear alone for $1,300 and $780 for the front. The weak dollar is killing european and asian parts pricing!
Just got back in town. Might have a buyer for the suspension and switchgear. I also found a brake lever with a touch of rash on the tip of it if anybody is interested.
