Why not just close the flapper boxes for the Summer. You could just detach the motor arm and push that metal lever towards the front of the car. Assuming the wire is connected to the flappers then...

215/55/16 on 16x7 and 255/50/16 on 16x9 with Carrera/SC flares would seem to me to be an attractive combo but the few tires in those sizes leave alot to be desired.
