Do the factory schematics for 78/79 as they are in color. I don’t recall but 80/83 should be color also. I know the Carrera aren’t colored.

The large is the feed to the torque converter
It’s a scavange return line to the filter.

With no lock nut, you can adjust in or out as needed from trans location

Should not lose any quantity oil.
Draining the sump then pouring the drained...
