You are absolutely right that the proper RS kits are Perlon. However, you can get RS type kits, also known as rear seat delete kit, in many other carpet types.

Ooffenhausen, thanks for your reply. I have already gone ahead and used SEM black trim paint as recommended earlier. The results look great. I will have to see how durable it is in the long run.
