The slave cylinder is out. Thankfully, one only has to remove the top shock bolt and tilt it back. In my case the Laser exhaust interfered with the bottom bolt and would have required removal.

They definitely can be disassembled with out doing something destructive. LE drills and taps for schrader-type valve so they can be recharged.
