Are you positive that all of the chain ramps are installed? I have seen/heard engines that have one missing and it sounds horrible.

I did replace the CVs on the suspected side with some used ones. They were not in the best condition but usable. and the noise is still there...Carrier bearing replacement is next???

Yeah, I thought of taking them off. But when I turn the rotors by hand, I do not hear any noise. I think I will take them off today and see if the noise is still present.

So the whole (shortened) story is this: I took a corner a little too fast and had the rear end come out on me. Having this happen many times before, I decided not to do anything about it. No breaks....
