Yep! I suppose there is a LOT more allowance for sloppy shifter in a 930 than a 911 being a 4-speed (except for the last few years). I think having a 5-speed I would have had to replace them much...

No, I only removed the screw one and wiggled the flexible portion out. I never removed the carrier from in there. I suppose that to remove the carrier completely you will need to pull the pin.
