We have decided to EFI it and we will start with the agreed K27 (Raptor X) turbo and see where it goes.

Good call on the EFI. I wasted entirely too much time and money trying to get my motor running again on CIS. And the other folks are spot on, these motors are too valuable at this point to trust the CIS system which was used on them.

Looks great, you will really enjoy this with efi and twin plug ignition!
In this current twin plugging modification do they use the same plug top and bottom as opposed to my 20 yr old mod that used 6 - 21mm (13/16) top and 6 - 18mm (11/16) bottom plugs?

Its 1960s technology vs 2025's, I think its an easy decision!

14mm threads top & bottom
5/8 hex spark plugs
So 12x identical Iridium spark plugs

Thanks Chris,
This should be much easier to deal with if you ever have to replace them. With EFI and Iridium plugs they may last forever.
I always wondered why some twin plug heads, mine for example, were machined for 2 different sized plugs. Another Porsche mystery?

They typically last a long time, yes.

Re: smaller diameter thread spark plugs -- there is a school of thought that the less metal you remove from the cylinder heads, the better. That leaves more metal to absorb and dissipate heat energy from the valve seats, for instance.

When you spec Xtreme heads, you can specify 12mm plugs instead of standard 14mm.

I will also be posting this later in the For Sale section but wanted to start here.

Since we are changing my exhaust, i will sell my current BB single tip muffler.
I have gotten this muffler box strenghtened by re-welding it at a shop. Will have extra pictures later to show.
No issues with this exhaust and sounds great too.

SOLD...thanks PP

if the EZ-69 becomes available again its plug and play as I did not cut any wires.

The XDI2 has rev control , knock control, dual plug, RPM control for my pierson valve, ignition mapping.
I was curious about the XDI2 as a possible compromise solution to fine-tuning my 930's ignition. I just looked on their site, and it looks like Electromotive is no longer selling product, and are looking to sell their biz.

Wow, that does sound awesome! Id guess somewhere above 450 depending on fuel and tune. What does TK say?

to be clear also...this was on "conservative" dyno due to its prototype sw/firmware

Made 433.5 hp and 441 lb-ft (on 91 good ol west coast octane)
We might go back to the other dyno that we did the baseline dyno at but we shall see
