More 935 favorite photos

I'm going through old photos and scanning them before they loose their color completely. I found a couple of 935 photos that have always been my favorites.
This one is taken at about 10pm during the 1981 Daytona
24 hours, I just like the feeling of the lights and the exhaust colors:


This one is from Riverside, probably 1980 or so:

This one is not mine, but it is interesting and shows how far the 935 had evolved from the 911 ......

Hmmmm, maybe they took the 911 concept one step too far with this one. An attempt to compete with the full-blown GTP cars as I recall ......

This one was taken at either the IMSA or TransAm race at Mid-Ohio in 1980. Torrential downpour made things interesting:



This photo was taken from on top of the pit garages. We bypassed security somehow and found ourselves with a nice vantage point on the roof! I like the lighting of the drivers hands in this. Watkins Glen World Championship for Makes 1980:

these are from a historic race at moroso race track in south fl. in the mid '90s. 935s were the featured car.

If anybody has a copy of the August 2001 'Road & Track' Salon article (Brumos 935), could you please scan and post the photos? I'm particularly interested in the interior shot showing Peter Gregg's plaid cloth seat -- one of his trademarks.

This one I took at Mid-Ohio at the Lumberman's 500 - a race where several different classes ran together but they were handicapped somehow so there was only 1 overall winner, no class winners. It was always an interesting race.
