Randy Leffingwell (noted Porsche author) is working on his newest book on Porsche's 60th anniversary (2008). Today, we got the car all clean and took it down to a neat building near the LAX airport. I told Randy I would only post one photo (don't want to give away all the goods), but I just couldn't resist these two...

It looks HOT.

You know, I've only recently come around to the 959. I think because it came on the scene when I was in High School, and every kid had those posters on their walls and whatnot, it never captured me the way some other models did. But recently, perhaps since the car has disappeared from the consciousness of most car enthusiasts, I have become fascinated by it. Such an incredible machine!
