Gratuitous Photos of my ST Replica
Today I worked on getting some lights on the car. I managed to get the driverside TS and rear light housings in place. I then assembled the Cibies and H4s. Some of these are just setting in place.
I thought this was a good time to snap some photos of the lont time coming Beastie! This project is really coming along. It just looks fast standing still. There are still many things to do, and the paint is not that great but... I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Enjoy! Whew!! that took a while with dial-up

Jeff, the rear are 9.5x17 with 255/40/17 rubber. Thanks Jack they look great. I think I will have to space them out a little, I seem to be rubbing the oil line on the pass. side. The front could come out a bit too.
We have been debating the cable modem. I generally don't use the computer much at home. Here are some more picts of the center fill. I am really glad I decided to do that mod. It really sets the car off.

Jamie , how did a texas car get so much rust ? I looked at your website and was impressed with how many repairs you did to save the car. All I can say is WOW ! I give you credit for saving one like like you have. Great work . Once its all done then you can concentrate on the paint finish. Silver metallic is not an easy color to apply by any means . Best of luck to you and your car.

Ok I don't know much about ST's but are those 9" flares front and rear? The front's look like turbo's and the rear's like SC's or am I wrong? Either way it's a beautiful car.

Looks great, Jamie. Did you get everything sorted out in the engine compartment?
You're right, it looks fast just sitting there.

sjd- I will leave the flat silver for now. I had some problems last fall when I painted that screwed up the finish. I will have to repaint but will leave it for now.
Jim, The engine should be sorted later this week. I have an experiment in ignition that I am waiting for parts. Its sorta a secret. I will post details when its working. Shuie, We will have to get together one day. Maybe we could organize a Houston get together. That would be about half way and close enough that Austin, Dallas, Houston, and LA/MS/AL could come. i will start looking for free weekends in the fall.

the car should be on the road this week once I sort out a few ignition issues. I doubt any of the lights will be working but a trip around the neighborhood, that will not be a problem.
Jordi, that would be great. I guess I need to hunt for my html files.
