Question 930 WEVO shortshifter pic's

Hi
I'm looking for a short shift set up for my 930 and all I've seen is the wevo shifter but they don't look very stock which is what I'm looking for. Does anyone have pic's of their Wevo set up or other makes of short shifters?
Thanks

Wevo makes a stock-looking lever for the 930. Its called the "classic"

Here's a shot of the Wevo Classic with Momo knob in our 930.

It will look pretty darn close to stock if you opt to put a shift boot on it.

Irrespective of how it looks (personally I like mine without the boot) the damn thing is great.

Why, oh why....

Ya know, I guess I just don't understand the attraction with the short shifter modification (of course, I'm old and stuck in my ways, or so my wife tells me). I like my stock setup just fine, but then maybe it's because I'm not physically challenged with short stubby arms. Mine, they're long reachin' dudes!

As far as shifting, these cars weren't made to bang gears as quickly as you can. If you want that, then go with something that runs on Saki. Gotta pause just a millisecond to let the syncros mesh, and she shifts fine. Yeah, the stock linkage is kinda sloppy (even after rebuilding), so maybe that's the main driver.

For damn near $600, I can find other more impactful ways to spend cash on my 930.

Could this be the start of a polarizing forum post????

You could be right.

I spent the money for two reasons - get rid of the POS stock unit with its sloppy shifting and shorten the throw. The WEVO shifter combined with the universal joint replacement made the shifting positive and clean. I was happy to find a solution to the Porsche nylon bushings and 12 in throw - and I'm 6'4".

I didn't know about the WEVO when I bought my Hargett shifter. I don't know about the WEVO, but the Hargett places the shifter high and back some, which works for me as I have moved my seat back, being 6' 4'' like Don. The stock shifter didn't work and a short shift kit helped marginally.

C'mon Mark, try it. Everybody is doing it

Seriously...I like the Wevo. So do a lot of people. And $600 is a squirt of piss in the world of 930 upgrades IMNSHO. It costs me $600 to fart in my 930.

Ok ok already! Now THAT got a good laugh out of me! What....everyone's farting in their 930?

Since I'm all done dicking with performance mods (well....maybe a set of headers someday, or something other than my K27 7006, and maybe....). I guess I need to find somewhere else to continue the spending.

But new rear tires first, mine are about to blow...which would really blow (or suck).

Fortunately the Sport Seat'd cars got 'somewhat' of a factory reduction, and mine's been rebushed - I'd be alllll over the WEVO if mine shifted *anywhere* like my bud's '79. My _GOD_ does that _SUCK_.

Literally 12sloooopyInches - yikes. He actually twisted his Momo knob and removed his ashtray for clearance.

now

Or both? Sir - she's gone from Suck to Blow:

REALLY digging my neu 265 CUMho XS's thus far. Heck, even taking them off tonight and rolling them around the garage is awesome. They smell / feel GOOD (I have issues). Maybe give 'em a whirl - the size esp. rocks.

You would be surprised how big a difference the Wevo makes. I grafted a 911 tunnel in my crewcab to be able to use one. I know, a bit extreme.
