Wevo in an old Turbo
I have probably installed the last aftermarket item I ever will in the old girl. Over the years I have read about how good this upgrade was and had put it off till now. I was having trouble getting into reverse and thought if I'm going to go to the trouble to adjust the clutch/linkage, I might as well go with something that would be an upgrade.
It took some adjusting but I finally have it dialed in. I had a short shifter in for probably the last 15 or so years and didn't realize this wasn't one unitl I had it in. It goes into each gear like butta. What can I say? It is amazing. No notchy hump to overcome just a into the groove push. Not a shove, nary a grind or grunch. Just butta. Sweet. I got the u-joint coupler too and swepco 201 so I don't know if it is just the shifter or just a cumlmination of the 3. Dealing with our host was a good experience as usual.

Les,
That's great to hear. The "OLD Sled" is coming together and I bit the bullet on the WEVO and coupler also. Nice to know your pleased with it. Cole

Pelican sent it fedex. It came 2 or 3 days after I ordered it. I'd picked up my wife for lunch and gone home to find one of those attempt to deliver notices on the door. It was a weekend so I had to wait till the next Monday. It came in a very small box. I'm asking myself is this it? How could it be? Something so small and yet so precise. Looking forward to really getting to know it.

Wevo shifter/coupler is the best mod for the money in my 930. Glad you did it. Enjoy.

My turbo has a Wevo too. Nice feel and the lever sits high and within easy reach. Good looking piece.
