I don't have Audio or Video, but when I had a K26 with a Zork, mine Whistled like Crazy. The Zork sounded great also. I'm getting ready to Fab a K27HF2 with a Zork, but have not done so yet. Maybe you're losing your High Freq hearing or you have a spooling issue. My K26 sounded great. Just my .02 Les

![]() When I fired it up my 4yo son got huge eyes and said 'awesome!' Can't argue with that. I think I'm going to end up with a zork in the end or some variation of it. Enjoy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdKr2DTV6YA

SHIIIIIIIIIT... I just installed a RarlyL8 Zork tube on my car and went for a quick spin down the FWY... sounds like a nasty rabid dog barking and I love it, however, I don't think it'll be long before my neighbours start hating me! Personally, I dig it! Wonder how long it'll take before the cops pull me over?

I started my car today with a friend over and it just so happend that the cops were driving by and they really slowed down and was taking a look. I still don't think that my car is as loud as a HD. So I'm not worried.

When I bought my 930 it had a Zork on it. I was living in New Orleans at the Time. My Father was visiting from FL and we were going to the Wooden Boat Festival in Mandeville, LA. We had to go across Lake Ponchartrain via the Causeway bridge, about 26 miles to cross the bridge. The Causeway commission has it's own Police force, there are cops everywhere on this bridge. Anybody who knows the area does not speed on it unless it is rush hour. We were going across it on a Saturday morning almost by ourselves on the bridge. Additionally, I have my dad in the car, and he won't tolerate speeding. I pull up to the toll booth, pay the toll and pull off with the Zork tube making Zork noise up to about 3000 rpm and shifting. I'm crusing along at 55-58 mph in 4th gear which as you know is a little painful and me and my dad are yacking it up. He likes sports cars and I'm driving him around in my Porsche. Basically even at 55 mph, I'm still grinning. About 15 miles into this trip across the big muddy, I pass one of the turn a rounds and there's a cop there who falls in behind me. He tails me for a few miles and then turns on his blue lights and I pull into the next turn around wondering if the sticker fell off my tag or whatever else. My dad is just as mystified as I am. I get out of the car to confront a Causeway Cop who my dad later described as Buford T Bullfrog. I really can't improve on that description, so we'll leave it at that. He's very animated and looks into the car and says, "where's your Radar detector"? I said, " I don't have one". He doesn't believe this and is looking thru all the windows of the Guards Red Teutonic Stallion. He then says, "you saw me hit you with Radar and you slowed down and pulled in behind that truck". I said, "sir, I wasn't speeding, and fell in behind the truck because he was doing 55 like me". Now he figures he's got me. He says, "something like you just did 17 miles in 12 minutes because you lit out of the tollbooth and they called me to tell me what time you left". Here's where it gets real fun. The police in the state of Louisiana, at that time, had 7 of the top ten most brutal police forces in the country. The Causeway Cops have been known to club people to death. Graft and corruption are a major part of Louisiana life. I'm about to do something very risky here. I'm about to teach a Louisiana Police officer something about Algebra. Or at least a little more than he thought he knew. So first let me say that I never was doing over 58 or 59 mph. If I ever hit 6o with my dad in the car, he would make a comment. So I asked the Cop how he had arrived at all these conclusions. He said the Tollbooth clerk had said I had done everything but cut donuts in the Tollbooth when I left. I blame this on the Zork. He said they called him on his radio and said I left at 9:04, he caught me at 9:16 and I was at the 17 mile mark. Now right now I had a little challenge here scientifically, but I decided to just go for the kill shot. I asked Buford T Bullfrog, "when the tollbooth clerks watch said 9:04, what did your watch say"? He says, "why would you want to know that"? Now I know he's toast. I asked how do you know her watch isn't 5 minutes fast? Do you and her synchronize your watches in the morning? I'm doing this very politely to keep from looking like a baby seal who has been clubbed to death. He acts like he has no idea what I am talking about. He's still convinced that I spotted his Radar beacon and slowed down and pulled behind a truck to hide. You see, he has me on Radar at 57 mph. He lets me off with a warning after wasting 20 minutes of my Saturday while I was out showing off my Porsche to my sports car loving Dad. This is my best Zork story, you've heard the old adage that that car looks like it's going 100 mph while it's standing still. Well, a Zork makes you sound like your going 100 mph while you're Idling still.

Hey, so did that little pipe you had on there really change the exhaust note that much.. because I had nothing on mine and it didn't really sound the same as your's did.... I am trying to figure out which is the best way to go with a zork as well as trying to see why mine didn't sound the way I thought it should or as the the others in the videos have sounded.... maybe my 930 is **** and I should just sell the damn thing! aahaha!

I took the flange off my plugged rattling CAT and welded a piece of 3in pipe on it. It's a homemade deal that I'll probably cut down and try to build something on to it. les_garten - Thanks for the story...

Thanks, Ben. It looks great and is so easy to install/remove with the V-band. It's not 100% centered, but I'm not fussed to be honest. It's a temporary solution until I rip off all my single turbo hardware and fit the TT setup. I'm planning to run two short Magnaflow Race Series bullet style "mufflers" off the turbo's so it will still sound "Zork'ish"

Two tailpipes inverted and welded together. Now that's clever!
Stick a small muffler in there and you'll probably keep it.

Thanks! But actually there's three tailpipes. The one coming off the turbo is a tailpipe also. I needed the bend and then cut it short.

Curious, what angle bend is it between the turbo and muffler? Is it a 45 degree bend?

Honestly, I don't know. Whatever the bend is in the 3in tailpipe is what the angle is.

I agree that I think it's about a 30deg. Looked at it again tonight.
