Have you ever been in a Police Lineup?

So the tale starts with a bunch of guys getting together for an early morning drive and breakfast.

So heres the early starters...

After an hour drive at ummm...various speeds, we arrive at the Hong Kong Airport for a buffet breakfast

Then someone mentions that we are invited to attend a gathering of cars for a road safety drive, organised by the Hong Kong Police...well given that we are all law abiding citizens and want to support our local constabularly, we all head off to the Police barracks

All sorts of cars were present

then the leader made us follow him

And then we were marched out

And humiliated by being marched for two hours at 6okmph

before they would finally release us to our homes on good behaviour!

Fun day actually

Some very nice cars, espiecally the GT3RS. Wish we could get them here, not that I could afford one. What is the penalty for excessive speed over there, or is it just a matter of how much money one has?

Was it this morning the Porsche Sunday drive Or last weekends? It's quite rare to see the 356 here in HK !!!! By the way, are you going to the States, you will need a good P-car especially a Turbo there.

That's good PR for Hong Kong Porsche owners. If they do happen to see you going above the speed limit they will know your doing it safely.
I'd keep that number on the car so they know you're one of them when you have the need for speed. Kinda like a get out of jail free pass? It might also have a reverse effect You guy's will have to try it and let us know

Great pic's

How could there be that many Porsches in a place with about 20 miles of drivable roads. Come to think of it, the only high speed road leads to the airport. That explains the yummy buffet at the airport.

Chris...sorry

Yelcab...something about the money some of the guys earn here allows them expensive toys that can't really get a good work out. Mind you we have some very nice country parks with lots of twisty roads to test your metal

And +220kmph is not unheard of by some drivers along the Western Harbour freeway although I dont know anything about that really. Just what I've heard....

makaio - nice shirt - shame about the face
