I have a set as my track wheels. They are cast aluminum - strong, but not nearly as light as my forged Fuchs.

I like them because they are a perfect fit. No spacers needed and the offset is nearly identical to factory specs.

For what I needed, and my budget at the time, they have been perfect.

I liked the ROH's for their price, fitment, and looks (easy to clean too). They are painted metallic silver with a clearcoat.

My set of four 17" wheels, with four mounted R-Compound Toyo RA-1's (235's & 275's) was about $1500 from Group A Wheels in Phoenix. It was an inexpensive solution.

The finish is clearcoat smooth. The lips are polished with a clearcoat. I need to take a close pic later today.

I have had the wheels about 1 1/2 years.

The center caps are fake Porsche emblems (pretty goofy, but from 5' they look fine).

I have had them on the track three times - full days. No issues whatsoever.

Have to admit that 17's fill the arches really nicely. Are they 7 and 8's or 8 and 9?

1500 sounds like a steal.

Yes, they are a killer deal. You can find lighter wheels... but I didn't want to spend the money for them. I also didn't want used wheels (didn't trust anyone).

Mine are 17x7.5 and 17x9.5.

Pics of finish and centers on a front wheel. Rear has a deeper dish...

A buddy of mine has ROH wheels on his 993. He likes them but I've not heard his technical opinion.

He and Shawn (901/05) came by last weekend to see my progress.

Oh... my wheels are stacked in the corner of the garage and covered with heavy plastic sheeting (and taped up). I had to crawl over my car and cut plastic to take the shots above (you can see plastic bag next to the tire in the one shot). I can't possibly get to the rear wheels (at the bottom of the stack). Hmmm...

I will estimate the outside lip on the rear wheels is about 2" deep. On the fronts, it is about 1" deep.

You can call Group A Wheels and they will give you exact specs. Their number is 480-813-4776 (Arizona).

Emission,
Those are great looking wheels, they really complement the look of your car. The Porsche center cap looks good, too!

Hey thanks!

I'm willing to bet those Chinese knock-off center caps have never even thought about being a licensed Porsche product!

I have the older style ROH wheels. They are the ZR6 model. Emission's are the ZS model.

The ones I have are

17x7.5 front with +30mm offset, using 225/45 tires (fenders rolled/shaved) 205/50 fits with no issues.

17x8.5 rear with +15mm offset, using 255/40 tires. No fitment issues.

Got mine from the same place- Group A Wheels in AZ. Jeff Curran is a nice guy.

One thing to keep in mind about these wheels. They use different lug nuts. They're conical seat nuts instead of the spherical seat that the Porsche nuts use. No big deal, as the conicals are nothing special. It's just that the two are not interchangeable wheel-to-wheel. Meaning, the OE Porsche nuts are not proper for the ROH wheels and the conicals for the ROH wheel are not proper for the Fuchs. Just something to keep in mind if you were to buy the ROH used. YOU NEED THE RIGHT LUGNUTS!

Anybody want to buy 'em??? I don't use them much. Only put around 500-1000 on them total. Basically brand new. Just bought them to see what they're like. Pretty sturdy wheel with nice machined clearcoat finish. Look a little "racier" than the Fuchs.

Jeff sold me my wheels too. The lugnuts were part of the deal. Oh, they are a Toyo dealer so I got the wheels with tires mounted and balanced. Paid just over $1600 for everything (last year). One stop shopping.

Mine are:

Front: ROH ZS 17x7.5 with Toyo RA-1 235/40-17
Rear: ROH ZS 17x9.5 with Toyo RA-1 275/40-17

Technically:

Stock FUCH is 16x7 has a +23mm offset / 4.90" backspace & 3.1" front space

The ROH ZS 17x7.5 has a +30mm offset / 5.4" backspace & 3.7" front space

Stock FUCH 16x9 has a +15mm offset / 5.6" backspace & 4.4" front space

The ROH ZS 17x9.5 has a +15mm offset / 5.85" backspace & 4.65" front space
