lONG ISLAND MEET PLEASE LOOK
Guys im considering postponing this meet due to the almost certain forecast for thunderstorms all day on sunday . I realize this is no big deal for the very local members since its a short ride .
However 75% of those attending will be traveling 100+ miles to get here . Im afraid the forecast will affect the attendance turnout and sour the day for those who stick it out, since I have no overhead shelter for everybody . I am also concerned that since the ground (grass) will be wet it will result in loss of traction and damage to the grass . Please review the the raindate options posted on the poll and pick what option is best for you . I will make a judgement call pending everyones vote . BTW done blame me for mother natures shortcomings. I want this to be a great day and since the forecast calls for rain on sat, sun , and monday I think its a slim chance we will evade foul weather . Please , everyone needs to vote . Also realize that the May 29th is memorial day weekend and traffic will be deadly through NYC as well as the Long Island Expressway. Kurt Williams

If we're bagging it for sure this weekend, I voted for the 12 June option. No special reason.

I'd rather avoid this forecasted rain, however, just about any other sunday works for me, my schedule is very flexible.

I would lean towards the June 12th option as well, considering the current forecast and the possibility of a lesser turnout.
....and voted as such. & I should have the lowering done, new tires, shocks, tie rods, and ducktail done by then. The momo race wheel, gauge trim rings, and shift knob are in already. ...looking good so far.

June 12 works for me just fine. I hope this summer has better weekends than the last month's has been.
BTW.....I don't think Ron has as much pull with the Pope as he says he has! Regards to all.

Picked June 12th simply because I want to get some paint work done and need the time.
Otherwise any Sunday is fine for me. Scott

June 12th would be better for me since I have a better chance of getting my 72 911T roadworthy by then (sad but true).
Good luck, and thanks for going to all the trouble of hosting this event.

June 12 is best for me, it's the only option of the ones listed that does.

June 12 may work for me as well, not sure though. I wouldn't mind if there was a "rain" date, as I can't go this weekend.
Have fun all!!

Looks like I'm screwed either way. This weekend was definitely out, and June 12th my son and I are registered for an all day NYS boating safety course prior to getting a jet ski. Just can't catch a break I guess.

I don't care what happens to the schedule so I'm not voting.
If I were spooked in advance by rain forecasts during the LI spring rain season I'd miss to much. If it rains then head to the new date later on. If it's a mild spring day and a couple of clouds take a piss then you duck.. btw, if there's no daybreak rain the Pope is saying a mass at Kurt's beach at 5:30am. I'll bring extra coffee. meanwhile the new date doesn't matter.
