R1200S - New Spy Pics

They have been taken by a "Quellidellelica" member on the Bernina, the quality is low, but there are some interesting cues:

RoLoo, I think those bags are only for some kind of data-acquisition system

In november it should be shown in Milan, at the "Salone del Ciclo e del Motociclo". I will make a detailled photo-report (and offer a beer if someone of you will be there too)

That about looks believable. How do they get license plates for those things if they're prototype/pre-production models? I think those personal-sized ammo cans are for the U.S. market only

Cool

Who said those tags were for those bikes Besides I'm sure they have special tags just for the prototypes.

view from the back

hard to pick anything else out from this angle, but hey better than any magazine trash reports...

just from looking at the hand/arm position... looks to me like a low bar installation,

the exhaust reminds me of duc and honda, side by side is now passe'?

Appears to have lots of cornering clearance... LED taillight.... Aftermarket Exhaust sales will be good too...

Yes, aftermarket exhaust sales should be good indeed.
The vertical hole-over-hole thing looks like really bad affect on a horizontal oval, but half of us would probably chuck the stock exhaust anyway, so I won't complain too much. More concerned about the front end. If it's botched/ST-ish, it could be a lot more expensive to fix.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed. BMW did great with the current S.

I kinda like the exhaust. I'll bet it'll grow on you, maybe look better in person. There won't be any mistaking what bike it is from behind!

If that cheap done-to-be-different tack-on grows on me, then I'm going to start showering in a good anti-fungal single-malt. Which would still make replacing the exhaust to be the economical/prudent thing to do.

I like what I see so far.The rear ia styled the same as the K1200S wheel witch is a good thing and still underseat exhaust. The mirrors also look very usable just hope they didn't do any strange things withe the front.

Wise choice to put $1,000 into 3hp for yesterday's look. I'm not into the louder exhaust note all the time, but that's just a preference. I'll put the extra coin into some Ohlins.

That's not an R1200S--- that's a K217!

Actually, I'd like to wait and see if they've redesigned the O2 sensor...
