I'm at a lose. Bobby said that's not possible. He is a dealer, so what's up?

Thanks so much Hugo! My sources seem dead on to me. I have stated a late O5 release from the start and feel vindicated that it will come to pass. While this does not absolutly mean we will get some to American dealers by late December..........its looking more and more that way everyday. Come on with it BMW........we have the cash in hand and are ready to pay full price NOW. Let us first run buyers get in a little winter practice before the Spring riding season starts in May. The clip reveals twin H4 lights, blinker in mirrors, front air intake, AND a very interesting front end that may indicate a repositioned telelever with uppers and lowers kinda like a modified Hossock design, and a tricked out brake calipure arangement. Bravo for BMW! Lets eat some Duck the next time out and bring on the UJMs when it comes to the mountains. Simply can not wait here in the Deep South................

Hugo........pull up the high definition Quick time and put in Play mode. When the bike first appears with just the front end (left side) showing use your pause and/or mouse control to stop the image where you wish. Note the repositioned calipers. Move on to the front end view, go to full screen image (I'm running a G5 with a high definition Sony 21 inch flat screen) and stop the action so you can move it with mouse control.
Note the left and right side of the wheel. What do you think? It looks as if the telelever is positioned lower on the cases than before but perhaps the camera lens is distorting the image. What do you think? |

![]() Forks seem a little wider with bigger diameter of axis (higher stiffness), also the brace has a different shape and seems to be positioned deeper (or the bike is squating) with a V-shape. But I can't tell if it is another front suspension...seems to be (modified) telelever system. Hugo |

I had a chuckle when the demo stated "Waiting is exciting" - most of us may have died of excitement by now in that case!

Is it going to have a bit of that slab sided look of the RT?

Good points Hugo..........note also that the front rim is wider. Perhaps that is why the span of the sliders is so much wider than before, and like you said this will add strength and rigidity to the front end. Still......its that deep V bottom connector brace that looks lower and unusual to me. Notice also how far the disc are carried to the outside of the wheel center line........which signals some hefty calipures on the back side. The calipures are radially mounted as can be clearly seen which should increase braking touch and smoothness of action somewhat. Header pipe diameter is increased so BMW has figured how to get it in........and get it out with more efficiency. Oil cooler capacity is increased as well and the intake area for cooling is larger. Lots of tricks on this new bike. More pictures soon I hope. Thoughts?

Looking very good.Don't know about the radial mounted calipers though on the pause moments that I could have a reasonable good view it looked like normal mounted calipers to me.Glad to see that the styling of the first spy pics is gone(as I already suspected cause it looked to mutch like the old S).Also the ram air hole on the left side(for the viewer) looks very exciting and I can't wait to hear that motor run.Maybe they even put in a M3 CSL kinda valve in the air intake to give better low down grunt and when the revs go up the valve will open completely).Hope the better pics and facts will follow soon.
