Questions about my car (in process of maint)

Ok so finally my friend and I have started the process of putting my motor mounts in and redoing what needs to be changed on the coolant system. As we are going in he's noticed a lot of little things wrong. One question I have is, is it normal for a little oil to be in the intake system?

It looks like there is some oil coming from the turbo somewhere, but inside the turbo it looks pretty clean. Is it normal for the turbo the have a tiny bit of oil going through it sometimes? Also a weird thing about my suspension. On the passanger front side, the braket for my torsion (stabalizer?) bar is ripped off the frame litterally. The spot welds are toast and everything. It has almost ripped my power steering line in half. It seems solid againts the frame (bad thing) and we're probably going to end up taking it out totally until we can goto his house in cali and weld it. Anyone else ever hear about it? He has never seen it and he specializes in the 944 series (this is his first turbo 944 though).

A lot of hoses were needing changed, which we are doing. He has a lot of knowledge but I'd like to pick your guys' brains too. I might be able to get pictures today, but I'm not sure if my roomates digital cam is working or not. This is my first real job with my baby. And let me tell you, it's interesting. A few parts are breaking and costing me more money (sigh) but it's been really neat to see this happen.

When we got in there the motor mounts were OEM stock...originals after 8x,000 miles. Kinda funny. Of coarse totally trashed to crap . I'm gonna have to really try to get pictures of some of the interesting stuff. Well just thought i'd update you, see what you think, and see if you had any suggestions? There is also a little oil in the intake manifold to the engine. Normal? Bad new? It's not like gobs and gobs or anything...but it's there. Thanks for the advice everyone...drive safe.

A little oil is prob ok mine seems to have had some everytime I've opened it up... as for the motor mounts.. Camfer the top's of them so that the bolt will slide into positon and Re Tap them.. We did one side without doing that took 3 hours to get the bolt to thread.. did the Camfer and tap on the other took less than 5 min.

Chamfer is kind of breaking the sharp edge at the edge of a hole. You can do it with a countersink. instead of a 90 degree angle from the top surface to the hole's inside suface, you end up with about 2 45 degrees, kind of a blend. Look at a I, now a Y.

On wife's 924t there is usually a little oil in pressure duct. I just think its pulling it from the turbo at high vacuum idle.

Well tonight we got some more done, but we need some more parts. But note to anyone doing turbo motor mounts, drop the cross member..makes things much easier.

I have some pictures of different things, the motor mounts, new and old. Also pictures of my stabalizer bar that had the broken braket (I took pictures of the bad one and the good one) We took it out until I can get it welded back. Tell me what you guy think with what you see please.
