Porsche Crest North Carolina mountain ride - part 2.3

Ok, hopefully the third time is a charm as they say. Whomever "they" are. But we are going to try this ride again on March 15th, same starting point and route as was planned for the December version (part 2.1?) Check out http://www.go-michael.com/Drive2/ for more info or contact me if you have any questions.

From the looks of the old thread there are still a good group of cars wanting to make this ride. Plus some that would not have been able at the time may be driveable by next month, right? Post to this thread if your going to make it so we can get a feel for the number of cars.

As the date gets closer those of us in the Charlotte area can set up a pre-meeting meeting place.

Here's a teaser to get y'all ready!

Knocking on wood that Mother Nature cooperates this time. We might even see a few hints of Spring. If nothing else it should be a good tune up run for Hershey.

Hey guys..well since I live up here in Boone, I'll hook up with you...as long as the weather is nice. We're by no means done with winter until April up here, so lets hope for the best!

I hope the weather is ready. We've had snow or ice everyweek up here for the past 5 weeks. The roads have LOTS of salt and slag. What we need is the weather to warm up a bit, and a good hard rain to wash the roads down, and then some sun!

Thanks, keep us posted on road conditions. We are supposed to get some warmer/dryer weather down here so maybe you will too.

I'm in. My car SHOULD be ready but the schedule will be tight. I found a frozen caliper so I'm rebuilding them all.

The weather forecast for March 15th is pretty good: Partly cloudy and 65 degrees. This should be a lot of fun.
