97 A6 quatro wagon draining battery
Drains battery nothing on pulling 3.6 amps. Noticed can turn radio on and off with out switch on. Pulled ignition switch still pulling amps and radio still works. Pulled all fuses nothing changed.

My 03 a4 qt drains a battery in a fairly short time if left unused,lots going on even when not running.
Have you had any aftermarket items added that may be causing this?do you have the right size battery for instance,lots of causes for this problem afterall.

No after market parts. Have pulled fuses. I now have console with radio and climate control instrument cluster all unhooked. Still have a drain. this car is not in perfect condition but it does its job.
