I’ve got a 76 912e, and installing pop-outs. They came yesterday, but the seller lied.
He said they were the aluminum style, but they are the brass style, and they’re pitted.
If you look at the tabs, they look very bent, are they supposed to be this bent?
Will I have any figment issues with the brass style on my 76?
Will the chrome brass look different than the polished aluminum trim that’s on the rest of the car?
I’m trying to take these apart to get them re-chromed, any hints on taking these apart?
