Yes. You can use the gift card (you put in a code, then it reduces your bill by that much. Then you use a credit card for the rest. You can even use credit card points in some cases as well if you have them (so, maybe $250 on a gift card, $75 in credit card points, then $312 on the credit card to complete things).
Or do what we did this past winter, take all of the coins, toss them in the machine, get almost $500 and gamble it away in Vegas!
