We redid our retaining wall this winter. During the process, we had 15 extra truck loads of dirt brought in, dumped, distributed, compacted and leveled. Last week we started a stone patio and fire pit on the level areas. It is coming along well. We found a really great stone mason to do the work. He has a crew of 2 helpers, one being a lady. Fun to watch them all work together and debate stone selection and placement. I set the sprinkler up this morning to water the supposedly deer-resistant wildflowers I planted earlier this spring.
