Off Koda's topic , but this houston cop should be tried for animal cruelty. In L.A., if you harm a police K-9, you are tried for assault on a police officer.

Shocking and horrible. What I always see/hear is that the cops and their K-9s have a really strong bond. It's hard to imagine this happening. I'm sure the guy got distracted, and I suspect he feels like sheisse, but yeah, at the very least, he shouldn't be a K-9 cop any more and this should be a major ding to his career.
