Yes, they will pay a little extra now..
However, when new, many of these cars were discounted because the dealer couldn't move them off the lot as most buyers wanted the optional roof! Especially for what a Porsche cost when new.
Typically, those that didn't have a roof were cars that were received by the dealer as part of their allocation . And sure, there were those that didn't care, there were those where the sunroof caused a headroom issue too, but most dealers ordered the option as did most buyers that were "specing" their car.
