I agree it should call "sunroof add on option."
but for now, many people are used to call it "sunroof delete", and new-comers like myself will become not new comers anymore in a few years...
just kidding.

When in fact, as you've stated, the sunroof was/has always been an option, and typically seen on US market cars! Dealers had a tendency to order cars for "stock" with a s/r because they were actually easier to sell as more buyers wanted the option.
