Im almost scared to ask if I over paid for my project. Its my project car, Ive already replaced the rear deck and ordered a new bumper. I have also lowered the car but it is to low now... (Have not had time to raise it back up some)
Its a 66 912, 3 gauge with a vw 1915. Paints pretty good, really rust free AZ car which is nice. It is a restored salvage car, It was hit in the rear prior to 2000 when the previous owner purchased it pretty much the way it sits now. It came with 911 seats (and the old seats) and a couple other goodies probably worth about 2ish k. Interior was redone and feels really nice inside.
For some reason they decided to wide body it. I was wondering if / when I decide to take it down to the metal if it would be worth it to convert it back to a narrow body. (Like the look better)
I live in AZ and I have been daily driving it since January with no issues. Tell me what you think, I paid 12,250 for it. If only there was a way to remove the restored salvage if I fully restored it.
Either way I think it will be a fun project to restore with my son in a few years. (9 months right now =D)
