Yea, it was not the worst day at work. That camera will shoot a photo as fast as the button can be pushed. I guess it is an assault camera, or full auto if you want. We don't keep it in full machine gun rapid fire so it takes a press of the button to get it to fire. When in doubt, shoot the photo. I ended up with 64 frames of the building in a 400% circle around the site. We go more than a full circle to be 100% sure we got it from every angle. Then I have to edit out a the near duplicates. I get it down to 24 which is over double of what they need. I let them pick and choose which images that want to use of the 24.
We shoot everything in RAW mode, and tweak the image in Photoshop, and of course crop it to a size of image that is reasonable. The 5D shoot a 35MB file in full res. I crop it down to a more reasonable size. The camera shoots a 5616x3744 so there is lots of room to crop.
