Was an art director on a monthly publication for businesses on how to manage using biblical principles. I usually had to stay up way late the night before the deadline so I could reflow and readjust stuff after the content editors got done. I kept myself entertained by working my face and/or profile into the pictures and graphics.

What got me thinking of this was one picture was an aerial shot of the jungles in the Andes mountains. I edited the jungle and mountains so it had a relief of my face. You didn't really notice until I pointed it out, then you couldn't not see it.

Did the same thing with the leaves or bark on trees, put my face or a drawing of me where logos where in the pictures. All kinds of out of the way not obvious places.

Put myself in all kinds of photographs too. Flying planes, driving cars, riding in cars, crowds, etc. One picture was of Edison and his pioneers in a big group photo outside one of his factories. Put myself in the window of the factory behind them looking out at the group.

It was fun and kept me entertained waiting for the editors. People in-the-know said they enjoyed playing "Find the Richard" in the publications. Nobody ever noticed until they were told what to look for. A few years after I stopped working on the publication I mentioned it to one of the directors. He had no idea. He dug out his archived copies from the two years I worked on the publication and sure enough, there I was looking back at him. LOL.
