So you paid around $65/square ft. and they threw in the 5 acres for free. Wow. Considering that it costs around $200/sq.ft. to build a lot less luxurious than that in the heartland these days, someone got their clock cleaned on that deal.
Your post about the split finger tips and miserable climate brought back some bad memories. I grew up in a colder place. No thanks, not even for an (almost) free house.
