I am in the beginning stages of making roof racks for aircooled 911/ 912s. They are constructed from 16ga steel tubing, hand bent then powdercoated "silver anodized effect". All of my racks are test fitted on my personal 912E for final fitment. There are six contact points that interface with the rain gutters on the 911/912 , all of which have rubber feet and two rubberized clamps that hold it securely to the roof. The wood is a simple pine slat that has been treated and held in place with stainless screws. These fit all hardtop 911/912 models through 993. These are intended to work with sunroof cars. I do not have a targa application currently.

I currently have two racks ready to ship, the price is $575 plus $80 greyhound shipping. Fedex or UPS will run approx $150 due to the size of the parcel but still doable if you do not have access to a greyhound depot.
