The Glover, named after 19th century Scottish industrialist Thomas Blake Glover after the time he spent in Japan helping to build up that nation, is a blending of Japanese and Scottish whiskies to create two new hybrid bottlings. One, The Glover 22 Year Old, is a very limited release while the other, The Glover 14 Year Old, is available in slightly larger numbers.

This third release of whisky named after the 'Scottish Samurai' Thomas Blake Glover is made up of whiskies from Scotland and Japan that are at least 18 years old. Another fine fusion celebrating the history and friendship these countries share.
Interesting choice.

I've had one Japanese made whiskey and it was very good, tasted like a blend of good Whiskey and Bourbon half and half.
