And when ol' Pie Face was playing there?

Good one Flat. I'd all but forgotten Johnny "Pie" McKenzie. Good to see a few of us 'older' dudes remembering the more colourful players in this great game.
I'll reiterate my thoughts on the Preds/Jets series; some old time 'fire-wagon' hockey with a number of very skilled players in the mix - Jets in 7.
Two heavy-weight powerhouses going at it at tooth & nail. This series (in my estimation) should feature some of the best hockey of this year's playoffs
although the possibility looms large the victor will be so beat-up.....
Vegas vs Sharks - it's a series if Jumbo is healthy - Sharks in 7 - the big "IF" being the determining factor. There could be a lot of 'north-south' speed in this one.
The Bolts have too much firepower for the Broonz & Rask is looking very ordinary these days. In spite of my best efforts to the contrary, the 'rodent visaged'
one still irritates to the point it behooves me to cheer for him & his team to fail - albeit in critical hockey moments only. In any case,
I'd still bet on this year's Bolts to be the eventual victors in a series which has the potential to become quite watchable.
The Pens vs. Cap - hell - this has become an annual or springtime rite of passage. This could be Ovie's year & perhaps more importantly for him,
his last legitimate kick at the can. We out west didn't get a great many opportunities to watch him perform but like all good ones, he was fun to watch.
Having said that, I would like to witness a Pens 3-peat. Deal with that - Crosby slaggers.
Till next time
Cheers
