...also, I forgot to mention...you are right that the experience will be different than your current "blend in" experience. I found myself not driving my Gallardo for precisely that reason. After the initial novelty of the car wore off, I found I kind of had to find a reason to drive it, whereas with my 911's I never felt bad (or douche-y) about running errands, taking it to work from time to time, picking up kids, taking them to practices, etc... This sucked because the car ended up sitting more often than not, which seemed like a waste. My solution was not to sell it, but to save and wait and add a p-car back to the stable when I could, so I could still enjoy fun drives when the time didn't feel "right" to pull out the lambo (i.e., driving to work...I did that one time and it was a huge mistake as I work at a big company with lots of pay stratification, and it was not a wise move).

So, if you can only swing one "fun" car, you may be disappointed with an Italian, as I found that they are just not as "useable." Not because they can't be used, but because, for me at least, I just didn't use it like I could a p-car. .
