It will definitely change the aero balance of the car by effectively adding downforce to the front and reducing air pressure under the car. Whether your car will become "unbalanced" can only be determined in a wind tunnel or on a race track at high speed. If you never go above 80mph you will never notice a difference. At 140 it may be a different story.
