That color on my '65 was reasonably close to the picture. I have no idea what the name of the color is/was. It might have been Yukon Yellow as Jim says. At the time I bought it for $700, put in the 1776, had the car painted, and replaced the interior & carpets along with a bunch of other things. At the time I worked for a school district. I took it to the body shop teacher and got him to match the color on the interior and repaint the exterior that color ($125 for paint & materials + $50 to the teacher). It was actually a pleasure to drive, & the 1776 seemed to have plenty of power. I'd really love to still have that car.
