I had it done in 2001 to one eye. Cost was north of $3000 per eye. Not a part of the body you want a discount on...
The doc told me I would need readers in a certain number of years. It was like clockwork, I needed readers on the Doc's exact timeline.
I can still hit a 300 meter target with open sights though and no glasses.
No regrets, totally life changer.
