Salvadore Dali was an interesting guy.
If possible, visit a Dali 'museum'. There's a good one in Florida. In the background of just about every one of his paintings is a mountain range. One of hundreds of childhood memories he was unable to relinquish in adulthood, which was fraught with idiosyncrasies borderline on the psychotic.
The 'soft clocks' he is so famous for was his expression of the malleability of time. He and Albert Einstein held such an idea in common.
