This seems more normal ($3000-4000) based on the research my wife did. My wife had it done 5-6 years ago. Before, she was able to read a book, but her distance vision wasn't great. What they often do is do one eye for close up and one eye for far, but for some reason, that probably wasn't going to be good for my wife, so they did both of her eyes for far vision. Now she needs glasses to read which bugs her. I'll have to ask if she's still happy that she did it or not. SHe had halos, but only for a couple of weeks, I think. She had also never noticed floaters, but sees them now. She had dry eyes, but I think those cleared up. Personally, I would not go anywhere that could do it for $200-300. I've seen what they do, and I want someone that's a bit more proud of their work than that. Some things are fine to get from the dollar store, but brain surgery, heart surgery, spinal surgery and eye surgery are not on the list of approved dollar store surgeries.

Have you watched the videos on youtube of what they do?
