Thanks, Hugh. I do check mine every month as well as the condensation line on my AC.

While we are it - another item that needs to be checked at least every year is the cabin filter in your truck. My Silverado's is easy to get at. Filters are really inexpensive on eBay - they sell them in 2-packs in many cases. Makes a HUGE difference in cooling and air flow.
