Growing up I always thought one of the Aerovette's should have been build in mass, as I got older realized the vette was a front engine car to stay - and now this?

In my opinion GM should have made the mid-engine Caddy to go upscale and left the Vette front engine but apparently such inbred competition is not allowed even in a reorganized and salvaged GM.

About the current design, I like what I see and what I can imagine it to be. However I'm puzzled as to why they didn't just warm over the 2012 Corvette Daytona Prototype race car - it had the aerodynamics down, and less polarizing than the newest Ford GT.

Maybe it was too kit car looking and been there, done that?

The Caddy has aged well on the other hand. I've seen it at a car show under a tent, it looked good at any angle, very well thought out.
