What is confusing me is that I associate Starbucks as being liberal utopia's. I thought I read stories after the election where people were refused service due to being Trump supporters?
How about the time a barista called the police on a man that wanted Trump on his cup?

I also remember Starbucks corporate stating they would gladly hire all ME refugees and then were hit with a huge backlash for not doing the same for Veterans. Then they tried to roll out a campaign showing they were hiring veterans which they are, as far as I am concerned it should have been the first thought not an afterthought to do damage control.

So here I am, looking through this thread perplexed, is Starbucks a Liberal Utopia or a bunch of racists throwing out black men?
Seems maybe the ones arguing that these men were just jerks who refused to leave because they intended to pull the race card might just be spot on.
Many articles fail to mention Starbucks gave them men a payout that has been kept private. The $1 ploy was just that. If they really really care, they will divulge the Starbucks payout amount and give that to charity as well.
