My 89 3.2 has a 964 rear seal. It was so late in the production run it has several 964 parts on it.

That said I am fighting my front windshield seal on my '75. I so not have a dash pad in it, and the a-pillars are naked. I cannot get a factory windshield gasket to seal. I was thinking the lack of vinyl (and the clips) is not helping my gasket seal.

Can I drop a 964 gasket into a '75? Why is it better?
