Yeah, I think there are a couple decent 12V DSP units out there. If you don't actually need 8 discreet channels (or the Bluetooth control), that should open up your choices even further.
Maybe an older/used Audio Control unit? I've had good luck with their stuff in the past and everything I've used (EQX/EQL/etc.) was always super clean/quiet and true to spec. YMMV.
