Do not use POR15 on anything 911 - especially if there is rust there. If there is rust in your channel, blast it and fix it correctly. POR15 is a joke. As I said, if it really worked, a real company like Rustoleum or Krylon would have made a real version of it and would sell it.
However, I do agree with not using a URO seal. Unfortunately I purchased two URO seals years ago, and will not be using them on my windshield since their master cylinder had just about killed me. Do yourself a favor and don't use URO seals.
