Victorinox and Wenger (Swiss) are good, however best quality these days for pocket knives is probably American. I would suggest an Al Mar SLB, a leatherman micra or a Spyderco cricket for a small knife or any Spyderco model for anything larger. This for simple knives for daily carry in pocket or on keyring.
