Age apropos?
I'm planning to shuffle off this work-a-day world for a life of leisure in the near future. In preparation of the transition I'm planning to sell off some bikes and buy a long distance machine. I'll keep one of the SVs for banging around town.
What to do? K13GT, 2017 R12RT, 2019 RT (rumored to be a 1250 with VVT)?
For the 2019, I'm not sure if I want to 1. wait that long, 2. be a beta tester for BMW's nascent technology and 3. pay the premium required for a new bike. I'm leaning toward a 2017 RT leftover with all the options (ABS pro (leaning ABS), ESA, ride modes pro, gear shift assist etc.).
Mr dlong, is your RT so equipped? Assessment? Do you miss the K13 power? I do like to go fast, stop fast and be nimble. Will I be happy?
Thanks.
