ryobi 18v the older ni-cads sucked
the li 2 amps small batterys are not a lot better but the bigger Li 4 amp ones are decent
the bigger saws circle chain or sawzall drain the batterys quickly so you need spares
one problem is the small battery if used on a lite draw like a flash light
can discharge the Li too far and it will not recharge unless jumped [see the U-tube fix]
and they doNOT like odd off label use like replacing a lead/acid on a lawnmower or e-bike
when I tryed that the batterys let the smoke out and died
